Disabled And Older People Met To Challenge Hampshire County Council's Plans To Massively Increase The Costs Of The Services They Get From Social Services - March 2006

Over 70 Disabled and Older People, and their organisations, attended a public meeting on Saturday 4th March at the Winchester Hotel to voice their concerns at the changes from all over Hampshire.

The meeting was attended by Dave Ward, Assistant Director of Social Services to hear the concerns of those present, he gave a presentation and answered many questions.  Philip Mason from Hampshire Centre for Independent Living also gave a presentation which was well received.  A resolution was agreed by all to take forward to the Council.  You can view the minutes and presentation documents below.  If you have any comments to make, please use our contact us page.
